Ishq Ki Rasoi

Ishq Ki Rasoi is inspired by a simple ritual between a father and his daughter. Every time he returned home, she would ask him to cook with her-not because the meal needed another pair of hands, but because love deserved another shared moment. The painting captures the father seated beside a traditional chulha (earthen stove), gently using a phookni-a hollow metal blowpipe used to kindle the fire. As the flames awaken, so do conversations, laughter, and the quiet comfort of being together. Here, the meal is not seasoned by spices alone. Its truest ingredient is love-slowly stirred into every pot, carried in every gesture, and served long after the food is gone. Because sometimes, the warmest thing a kitchen can hold is not the fire, but the people gathered around it.
